Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza

As a girl from Wisconsin, I love my cheese, so whenever I can combine cheese into a meal I love it.

If you’ve ever had Gorgonzola cheese, it is a richer cheese; excellent with fruit and wine. It really compliments the sweetness of fruit. So naturally, when I saw this recipe I knew it’d be easy to make and taste AMAZING!

You can simply buy a pre-made pizza crust, buy a pear or two, honey, olive oil and gorgonzola cheese; that’s all you need! You spread the oil on the crust, then the cheese until it melts. You add the pear slices towards the end because you just want them to be warmed up, that way they keep a little of their crunch; drizzle with honey and serve!



I think it is an excellent idea to use as an appetizer or just to make for a quick lunch. It is delicious! If you enjoy trying new flavors out and like flat bread tasting pizzas, this is for you!
